Operations Manager

FixGlass Ltd is expanding from the United Kingdom into the United States! We’re seeking a vehicle glass professional to lead and establish our operations nationwide. This is a unique opportunity to transition from technical expertise into management, driving the launch of an international brand in a new market.

Key responsibilities

• Open and manage a US office/unit to support operations
• Establish relationships with insurance companies to enable insurance work partnerships
• Set up postal and administrative infrastructure for US operations
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers across the country
• Open and manage US bank accounts for company operations
• Oversee vehicle glass subcontractors nationwide
• Ensure compliance with NAGS and industry standards
• Act as the primary liaison between US operations and UK headquarters

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a vehicle glass/windscreen technician (minimum 5 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of US vehicle glass industry practices, suppliers, and compliance codes
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Valid US driver’s license and clean record
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and build a team from the ground up

Compensation & contract

• Salary: $84,000 per annum
• Contract: 12-month initial contract with possibility of renewal
• Flexible remote/hybrid working arrangement
